Join us on a long, easy sail to Pucisca, a breathtaking town built entirely of stone. Nestled on the island of Brač, this hidden gem is famous for its white limestone and old-world charm.
Along the way, I catch Candice dancing for the dogs, and later stumble upon an unexpected discovery, a simple, powerless way to make water that could mean long showers, at least sometimes!

Sailing Electra
In late 2021 we bought a 1976 Catalac 9M catamaran sight unseen that had been wasting away on land for years. Flew to Europe to go check it out and discovered the engines were seized, the wiring a death trap and every through hull valve crumbled when touched. I'd been building ebikes and scooters for years and decided I'd repower it as an electric. My wife and I spent 4 months peeling away all the rot, and pulling out all the wiring so we could start again from scratch. Eight months of very hard work in some icy cold weather and the boat was finally ready for the water. It now has two 6kW electric outboards, 3200W of solar and a 14.4kwh lithium battery bank. We've taken it from Croatia where we bought it, to Venice and then all the way through Croatia, back to Italy and now to Greece where we are today. We run everything off solar, the motors, cooking, making water and heating it, we even have a washing machine and dishwasher! We love this boat 🙂
