On day 2 of our bare boat charter in the British Virgin Islands, we bring you along with as we leave Cooper Island and head to North Sound on Virgin Gorda. On the way we stop at Great Dog, which is known for being a popular snorkeling spot in the BVI.
Once to North Sound we heads to Bitter End yacht Club where we had a mooring ball for the night. Once secure on our ball we hailed some local celebrities on the VHF radio and they delivered drinks to our boat. Jim (AKA) Rumrunner, and his sidekick Drake deliver frozen drinks straight to you boat!
For afternoon drinks we hit the happy hour at Saba Rock, which is arguably one of the prettiest places to catch a beautiful sunrise anywhere in the Caribbean! We were taken back that we were recognized by a few followers of our channel! It was very cool to be noticed from our videos and very nice to chat with Erin and Mike for a bit over drinks. They are also YouTubers so go check out their channel @ReelDimensional .
While at Saba Rock we watched the Tarpon feeding that they have daily at 5:00 PM, then we headed over to Bitter End Yacht Club to make our dinner reservations. The ambience at dinner was amazing! This was our first time visiting Bitter End since they were devastated by hurricane Irma back in 2017. They have done a remarkable job rebuilding.
