Sailboat Racing, Sunset Horn Blasting, and Partying on the Strip in Put-In Bay!!
This week we continue our Put In Bay series up on Lake Erie. After some challenging racing in fluky winds, we bring the J-24 Orange Whip back in in the pouring rain. But the clouds crack open and Loren and I explore the island via the slowest golf cart in the world. Including the world famous “Shiphouse” erected from one of Henry Ford’s ships…very cool. Then of course it’s time to hit the bars – the favorite passtime of most who frequent the island. And we survived!!
