We are about to leave for the 680 nautical mile sail to La Graciosa in the Canary Islands. Having hopped over to the anchorage from the marina, we had a long list of boat jobs to crack on with, from wiring in our anchor light, to finally stopping that awful rattle of our mizzen coaxial cable.
