PREPARING FOR INHACA ISLAND, MOZAMBIQUE. We've always loved Mozambique and have done a few overland trips to Inhaca Island. But this time we will be sailing to the island and are super excited to be able to take our floating home to this extraordinary African island.
But, before we can leave, we need to prepare for Mozambique. We have a few things on our list to get done. Firstly, Charlotte needs to repair the spray dodger which tore on our last sail up the east coast, then to replace the radar reflector that just fell off.... Luckily she's not afraid of heights and goes up the mast to attach a new one!!
Lastly, the provisioning. Not knowing how long we'll be away for makes it a difficult and then to find the space to store it, is well....lets say....challenging. But we make it work.
Then comes the check out process..... Zululand Yacht Club, immigration, customs, water police and lastly our PCR tests. But, when you have friendly staff, it makes it all worth the while.
Inhaca Island, here we come!!
