I brought my father and my two kids for a little trip from Vancouver to Pender Harbour, then to Nanaimo and back to Vancouver. We had perfect weather and some great days for sailing and travelled 136 nautical miles in 8 days.

It's race day Sunday, and the AC72 is never just ready to go racing. There is a seemingly endless list of jobs to tick off by the hard working shore crew before she is ready to race.

The last race on the Atlantic side then the yachts are broken down and trucked to the Mrditerranean for the final races. Like the cycle race there is a leader and the rest are juggling for the other podium places.
Continuing on past Sandy Cay, we sail down the South shore of Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands passing Little Harbor, Great Harbor, and flocks of feeding sea birds along the way!
