We sail to Manjack Cay and swim with giant myliobatoidei… also known as stingrays.
I love the days when we can move the boat from point A to point B under sail power alone. It’s a great accomplishment and it always feels good when we work as a team to get it done.
Manjack Cay is a pretty cool place! It’s uninhabited, but there is abundant wildlife there. Sharks, rays, sea turtles, fish, and loads more. Oddly, much of the wildlife is almost tame from the frequent and regular interactions with humans.
Lastly we experience a surprise thunderstorm. Thankfully our Mantus anchor did not drag. We were worried since we didn’t set the anchor with the engine when we sailed in – plus the bottom is pretty bad at the Northern anchorage of Manjack Cay.
