Sixty plus years ago the beach below our home a block up was protected by a steep embankment which allowed us kids that used as our playground almost total isolation. Now Captain of my boat Morning Star living on the docks here in Campbell River called the fishing capital of the world and also now known for awesome whale watch excurtions, I head to my old beach to check it out all these years later. We built beach rafts as well as had a secret cave in the bank as our hideout hidden away in the banks brush. But alas the beach is not the same - can I reclaim my heritage?
I take the GoPro, both drones, and my field recorder to film this video epidode, my first in Ultra 4K HD. Davinci Resolve Studio is unquestionably thee best editing program out there. Used exclusively by Netflix producers and I own it. An incredibly powerful editing program.

Capt'n Ev is a full time liveaboard on Morning Star a 42 foot Whitby ketch. Years of refit and upgrades and or new systems have made an already ocean capable cruising sailboat voyage ready.
