After sailing from BVI, we arrive in Saba, a dormant volcano rising out of the Caribbean Sea a whopping 2910 feet. We discover that a tropical depression is heading our way so try to cram in as much as possible before we need to run… checking out the two main towns then starting a seriously STEEP ascent from sea level to the peak of Mount Scenery.
The ‘cruisey’ boat life may finally be catching up with us as we realise how unfit we are only minutes in to the hike!!
