Hey! We’re Ruth and Andrew 👋🏼
After years of dreaming, we left our family, friends and lives in Edinburgh, Scotland, behind as we set off to chase our shared dream of sailing the world. Last year, we bought our 11m catamaran, Rúna, which we now call home as we live, work, sail and adventure full time across the Mediterranean.

This week, we take a huge step towards turning our liveaboard sailing catamaran into a fully off-grid home built for blue water cruising. From installing a high-output watermaker from Aqua Nautica, to upgrading our power system with lithium batteries from Titian, and fitting a new water filtration system from Maverick, we’re transforming Rúna into a yacht capable of producing its own power and water wherever we drop anchor.
