New Zealand is one of my favorite, if not my favorite, places to travel. Back in 2017 I spent five months there spearfishing and freediving throughout the entire country.
Exploring not just on land, but under the sea as well was an amazing experience. The kelp forests were especially fun to dive through. Here you see me diving in the Coromandel Peninsula. After finding a cool rock formation, I knew I had to dive down and see what was underneath. Although there was no fish, it was still an amazing freedive and one that I’ll never forget!
