FINAL JOBS ON OUR VAN CONVERSION - LIME WASHING THE WALLS!
This week it's time for the final big jobs on our van build. From getting the diesel heater installed to finally - finally! - lime washing our plywood walls. You're either going to love it or hate it... so please don't be too mean if it's not your cup of tea! 😀 Personally, we love the distressed look and it's a relief to get these bigger jobs ticked off our list. Oh, and we celebrate a very special birthday! 🐶

We're Chesca and Ben and River (🐶 ) and we usually live full-time in our self converted sprinter van, Sophia. After a year of travelling Europe, from Spain and Portugal to the island of Sicily, the pandemic brought us back home to the UK. Along with a secret project we'd been planning! We plan to drive our tiny home on wheels all the way from Cornwall, UK to Cape Town, South Africa. Starting in late 2021, we first need to make some major upgrades to Sophia, stripping her right back to the insulation and giving her some beefy upgrades. Join us on our journey as we turn Sophia into an overlanding rig, ready to tackle whatever Africa can throw at us.
