Fall 2020 passage to FL
The Meri Crew sails offshore from VA to FL. We leave Hampton VA where the weather is getting downright cold and head south on the Atlantic ocean. After a four day passage we arrive in Florida where it is shorts and T-shirt weather. Along the way we have a night of bad weather, but also some great sailing and overall a fine passage.

The Meri Crew: Travel adventure on the high seas, islands, bays, rivers, etc. with Doug, Mj and our family and friends aboard Sailing Vessel Frolic, our new sailing catamaran. We have moved on from our beloved 41' sailboat, Meri, but are still cruising to new places and experiencing new things. For 2024 we will finish up the Eastern Caribbean. Then maybe head north to Nova Scotia or Newfoundland again in the summer, or if things go well we may sail all the way around Newfoundland. All plans right now are still very loose because, well that is just how we like to travel and live. There are so many places near and far we have not been yet. Sailing, snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing, kayaking, yoga, gunk holing, cooking, kiteboarding, windsurfing and wing foiling are staples while we are aboard Frolic. Other times we love water skiing, snowboarding and snow skiing, flying, knitting and other stuff.

We spent more time in Denali National Park than anywhere else in Alaska. We did hardly anything the average Denali tourist does and the average Denali tourist does hardly anything we did.
