Fair Isle Mega Compilation | Season 2 (part 1)
After wintering in Cartagena we cast off in early spring to sail through the Mediterranean. We don't get far!
In fact, we were on our first stop before crossing to Ibiza when Covid happened. It came as a complete surprise to us. We had been onboard for a week or so in the Mar Menor, an inland sea, and when we went to shore we were met by the Spanish police who stopped us. We were sent back to our boat immediately.
And so began more than two months at anchor in the Mar Menor. I'm sure a lot of people had tougher lock downs than us but it was strange. Good and bad.
