Broken bones, broken engine, broken autohelm… we decide to turn back. Thinking we are hitting the ocean again, we don’t get very far before our engine conks out on us, the autopilot isn’t keeping us on course and Slim is in terrible pain and not able to hand steer. With all these problems we decide we need to turn back. We are hopeful that we will get things back in order in time to catch this perfect weather window, but this doesn’t really go according to plan either.
