European Yacht Of The Year 2026 Winner - Exclusive Tour at Boot Düsseldorf Boat Show
We’re at the Düsseldorf Boat Show 2026 for an exclusive first look at the brand-new Excess 13 catamaran! Fresh from winning European Yacht of the Year, the Excess 13 is the long-awaited big sister to our own boat, the Excess 11, and we couldn’t wait to see how it compares.
In this video, we take you on a full, in-depth tour of the Excess 13, walking through the layout, design changes, performance-focused features, and the details that make this catamaran stand out from the rest of the cruising market. From the helm position to the living spaces, we share our honest first impressions.
⛵ Let us know what you think of the Excess 13 in the comments, and if you’d choose this over other cruising catamarans!

After years of dreaming, we left our family, friends and lives in Edinburgh, Scotland, behind as we set off to chase our shared dream of sailing the world. Last year, we bought our 11m catamaran, Rúna, which we now call home as we live, work, sail and adventure.
