Episode 1 MV Noeta: Who are we? Meet the Crew of Noeta, a Nordhavn 50

Welcome to the very first episode of M/V Noeta! If you’ve ever dreamed of quitting your job, selling it all, and living on a boat, you’re in the right place. We are Pat and Alexa, and we’ve officially traded the traditional life for a full-time liveaboard adventure on our Nordhavn 57 expedition trawler.

In this debut video, we’re sharing our "origin story." We’ll talk about how we got started in the cruising lifestyle, the different boats we’ve lived on to get to this point, and why we chose a Nordhavn as our ultimate ocean-crossing home. From the early days of dreaming about the Pacific coast to our seven years cruising Puerto Vallarta, we’re giving you a tour of our past and a roadmap for our future as we head into the Sea of Cortez and the Baja Peninsula.

Along for the ride is Gilligan, our famous fat boat cat, who has seen more miles at sea than most humans! Whether you are interested in trawler life, marine maintenance, or the logistics of working from a boat, join us as we begin this epic journey.

Welcome aboard Noeta—the adventure is just beginning! Follow the journey and subscribe for weekly episodes!
