Well, after the last episode where I lost my Mavic Pro, you all kept saying that I should find if there is any flight footage stored in my Tablet of the final flight and if it was there, you wanted to see it. So here it is. There were two flight videos stored in the tablet. I have analyzed the flight logs and the videos to figure out what happened.
What I can confirm is, I flew low to the water for a long time in my first flight and that went on for 21:48 with no issues at all. My second flight was much shorter and I barely spent any time down close to the rapids and still some battery error popped on my controller screen and caused my Mavic to go down into the water. I still love the Mavic Pro and think it is a good drone. Now that I have looked at the flight logs and looked at the footage of the 2 flights it is clear to me that I just was the victim of a faulty “Smart Battery” from DJI.
DJI has finally responded to me and has taken the Log files and the footage and they say they will get back to me with their findings within 48 hrs, so I am still waiting to see if they will agree it was defective battery that caused it and will replace my Mavic.
I will keep all of the viewers posted in future episodes. Thanks for watching. Please give the video a Like as it helps to grow the channel as YouTube will promote the videos that are getting views and likes.
Make sure to subscribe to follow along with this DJI Story of “Will They or Won’t They” agree to replace my Mavic. I’m curious, so I am sure you are too.
