Ep 7 First Sail, First Problems On My New Boat!
I drive up to Oregon to get MY NEW BOAT! I'm so excited and I don't even know how to turn on the light switches! We then go sailing on the Columbia River to get my feet wet, practice docking practice, and do some sailing!
What is the difference between getting a survey and truly (as an technical person) digging into your own boat, especially when you don't have a long experience with working on big boats? Well, it means you really figure out ALL the stuff that needs to be fixed! We get the raw water hose replaced, cabinet latches fixed, and more.
But - hold on, are there also some majorly expensive projects ahead? Well...yes.
There's plenty to get going on ASAP because we have the DELIVERY down the coast of Oregon/Norcal planned in just weeks!
So let's get this show on the road!
