We sail as quick as we can (with very little wind) in our 40ft boat down from Baiona to Porto, crossing the Spanish, Portuguese border to make it before our friends land for a weekend of exploring, drinking and Portuguese Karaoke mixed in with some swims and beach trips!
We say farewell to our friends before sailing south once again downwind to Figueira Da Foz.

We're the Hansons, made up of Flick, Joe and Walter, and we're inviting you to transition with us from our safe, steady, land-based life to a totally new adventure on the high seas aboard our Gib'Sea 402 blue water sailing boat Nendaz. Nendaz is named after a small town in the mountains in Switzerland, one close to our hearts, an ode to our love for the mountains that we can bring with us on our journey across the seas. We're steadily upgrading the boat from a weekend boat to a full-time live aboard and trying to do as much as possible ourselves. Watch as we become mechanics, plumbers, engineers, electricians, carpenters, and finally untie the lines and then the real adventure begins! We post weekly videos every Friday.
