Joe moved aboard the boat for a week on his own so that he could install our lithium battery bank setup with @VictronEnergyBV Multiplus Inverter Charger.
Flick and Walter soon moved aboard, and we finished off the installation together.
It was all quite chaotic as we had to run cables throughout whilst moving our life onto the boat. But now we can run an induction hob, and electric oven, hot water via electricity, having some of these mod-cons onboard makes life that little bit easier, and it began to feel like a home. Although we are still quite a way off yet!

We're the Hansons, made up of Flick, Joe and Walter, and we're inviting you to transition with us from our safe, steady, land-based life to a totally new adventure on the high seas aboard our Gib'Sea 402 blue water sailing boat Nendaz. Nendaz is named after a small town in the mountains in Switzerland, one close to our hearts, an ode to our love for the mountains that we can bring with us on our journey across the seas. We're steadily upgrading the boat from a weekend boat to a full-time live aboard and trying to do as much as possible ourselves. Watch as we become mechanics, plumbers, engineers, electricians, carpenters, and finally untie the lines and then the real adventure begins! We post weekly videos every Friday.
