When we started this trip – we had only two firm plans. First, fly to England. And second, visit friends in Amsterdam. In this episode, we get ourselves to the Netherlands by way of a potentially risky ferry ride into France. And then spend a couple of glorious days living it up in what quickly becomes our new favorite city. Yes, our criteria is easy… can we live on the water and have friends with similar interests? Check.
We also realize that we are happiest in life (and definitely in a sidecar) when it is warm and sunny. So we finally make a plan and decide for the rest of this trip to make a sharp turn and head directly south to the Mediterranean before it gets cold.
