The first Catalina trip with my new sailboat. I pleased with myself for getting the boat ready for a Catalina trip just one month after purchasing it. We moored in Avalon. It only took 6 hrs on the way there but the return trip took about 10 hours because the winds were lighter. We caught 2 fish. There are still many projects left on the boat but I feel it is important to sail the boat as often as I can during the refit process so I can figure out which projects are most important and discover any problems with my workmanship.
