Davy and I (Erica) have recently upgraded to a hurricane damaged catamaran! This new chapter is going to push us in very different ways. From repairing fibreglass, fixing electronics, cleaning up the cosmetics and many many more jobs, this new phase of our adventure is going to be very exciting. We are looking forward to getting Barefoot 2.0 up to cruising standards! In this episode of Barefoot Sail and Dive we share some of the challenges over the past few weeks. We are happy to share our story with you.
We are very thankful to have negotiated with the boatyard and we can finally continue working. The hostage situation has been finished! We will resume work on Monday with our team of local Dominican workers.
We feel it is important to show what has been happening. We have played by the rules. No power tools, okay we did not use power tools. We are looking forward to the new environmental procedures the yard is going to put in place. It is a step in the right direction!!
