Sabah closed its borders in March 2020 and the rise in poverty has become an increasing concern for everyone living here. The Bendera Putih (White Flag) movement has gripped social media in recent weeks and highlights the huge numbers of people who are now in desperate need of aid.
Since last year Malaysians have been working together to help their neighbours and communities; Peggy and Annie are two women in Sabah who are feeding the needy.
