Beginning of a Mishap! Sailing with a Leak!! First we go visit the oldest tavern in Delaware- Sully’s Irish Pub at the Witherspoon in Middletown, Delaware. The bar tender gave us a history lesson on the tavern. We learned the tavern opened in 1761 and George Washington and Thomas Jefferson stayed there. The Everett Theater is across the street and is a film location for the Dead’s Poet Society. Brian found an old stack of bricks he thinks is from the tavern. We also take a look at an old house that caught Brian’s eye. Brian is always looking for a house to flip. We stop by Harbor Freight on our way back to the boat. After watching Zingaro we decided we needed and trash pump. What size trash pump should we get?? Now it’s time to take off on out first sail of the season!! Maybe we shouldn’t have gone! Stayed tuned to see what happens.
