An Atlantic crossing with 3 hurricanes! | Ep152
With three hurricanes roaming around the Atlantic basin it wasn't an ideal time to be completing our Atlantic circuit!
We did have what looked like a decent weather window to sail from the Azores to Portugal but we always knew with all the disturbance the Atlantic was not at its most stable.
Hurricane Gabrielle was making its turn near Bermuda and all the models had it disappearing into the Northern Atlantic. However hurricanes tend to have ideas of their own especially when being affected by other nearby hurricanes so in the event Gabrielle turned South and chased us to Portugal.
