A Scary Haul Out | The Wheels Fall Off Car | Doing Boat Maintenance In Dakar Senegal | S6 Epsd 85

#sailing #sailinglifestyle #adventure #travel #africa #windedvoyage
It was a white knuckle experience hauling out my boat Galopin on the beach. On the way up, two of the 18 wheels fell off. Good thing there were 16 left. And just as we got up on the beach, the cable broke. Anytime ones boat is lifted out of the water is stressful. Boats don't belong on land. And mine was on a beach. Secure and ready for a makeover.
