A New Boat for Noeta?! 🛥️ Grounded in the Channel?! (San Francisco Bay)
Did we just trade in our Nordhavn 57 for something a little... faster? This week, we’re taking a break from the Sea of Cortez and heading to San Francisco Bay! Join Pat and Alexa as we step aboard a brand new Jeanneau NC895 to see how the other half lives.
Watch as Pat trades the single-screw diesel engine for twin Yamaha outboards and a joystick docking system. It feels like "cheating" compared to docking Noeta, but it sure is a blast! We cruise past Alcatraz, cruise near the Golden Gate Bridge, and enjoy a rare sunny day on the bay.
But it’s not all smooth sailing—we run into a major bottleneck when a sailboat gets grounded in a narrow channel right in front of us at low tide! We watch as a dinghy tries to pull them off and Pat has to navigate some seriously thin water to get us back to the dock.
