A Checklist for Leaving the Dock: MV Noeta, Nordhavn 57
When casting off the lines, do you do the same procedure every time? Have you ever left out a step? Was there ever a mis-communication while hoisting the anchor? To avoid issues, we have an actual checklist we refer to each time we push off the dock. While we don't need all the items every time, it ensures that, even under chaotic times, we leave the dock looking like pros.
