11 Are we ready to leave?
Hey FLOW family, can you believe it? The time has come! We have been dreaming of this moment for years, and now we are finally ready to cast our lines and set sail for the Bahamas!
… Or are we? Come on guys, you know us well enough by now to know NOTHING can be that simple. Follow our continuing saga in this week’s episode, now LIVE!
In this episode we repair our generator (twice, because we’re overachievers), we go up the mast again to lube the sail track and replace some old light bulbs, and we begin our ill-fated passage to the Bahamas.

Sailing SV Flow - 2 people, 4 dogs, 0 experience We’re just a couple of middle-aged empty-nesters who are slightly prone to “Oooh-Shiny” Syndrome and sometimes lack the good sense to back down from a challenge. Granted, no one has ever accused us of leading boring lives; crazy, maybe, but not boring. We don’t do sweet, sane life-in-a-box. We do live in a near constant state of chaos, but chaos has become our friend and our mentor. Now we’ve really jumped off the deep end (pun definitely intended) and are taking on our biggest challenge yet- we are setting out on a circumnavigation of the globe in our 45' sailboat with our four dogs as unwitting accomplices. This new adventure promises to shape and mold our lives in ways we’ve only imagined. We invite you to follow along with us as we turn the page on this new chapter. And don’t worry- while you are starting in the middle of our story, you, my friend, have the benefit of skipping right to the best chapter!
