Overnight Alex Thomspon has called in to Race HQ in Paris to advise that he’s hit something with his starboard foiler Moustache Wing. He’s still in the race but it’s too early to tell if it is a enough to slow him down crippling his leading chances. Once again Alex has had drama. It seems to be part of his every race plan. Only time will tell. Meanwhile the noise in another foiler is so bad that he’s had to wear ear-muffs and journalist Sébastien Destremau in Face Ocean has another report in his never ending problem with power and furling etc.
