The others (a thousand plus) took longer and it was spectacular, the RC 44’s bashed it out in Porto Cervo, the TP 52 super series was also there for Audi sailing Week and we havr the wrap, the Star worlds were run in Troense Denmark, the Extreme sailing Series was Stadium Racing in the Madeira Islands, the Torbole 2017 RS:X Youth Championships were on Lake garda Italy and the finish in New York saw the Queen Mary 2 beat off the four French MOD 70 trimarams. Going at over 24 knots in a straight line the QM2 beat Vendee Globe winning skipper Francois Gabart and his five man crew.
