Team SCA was first past Gibraltar then down the West African coast Dongfeng hit an “object” and destroyed their post rudder. The stopped and replaced it. Abu Dhabi Racing took over the lead. Spanish entry Mapfre had a call from a Spanish Navy warship who launched a RIB to run by the boat as a local “cherr squad.” Of course the navy lads went on to cheer the girls on Team SCA! Dongfeng retained the lead.
