Racing in the SE’ly trade wind of around 13-17kts, some 250 miles offshore of the NE corner of Brazil, Transat Jacques Vabre Normandie Le Havre ULTIM race leaders Armel Le Cléac’h and Seb Josse (Maxi Banque Populaire XI) have less than 2000 nautical miles to make to the finish line off Fort-de-France, Martinique. They maintain a lead of just over 55 miles ahead of nearest rivals François Gabart and Tom Laperche (SVR Lazartigue) and continue to have a small speed advantage in the unsettled, gusty wind.
