Accidents can and do happen on yachts even when they are at the marina. Sharon Atkinson breaks her ankle when cleaning the bilge on a Clipper 68. She will not be going to Hobart but has been offered a place should the boat enter again. Considering the weather forcasted for the race she may be lucky to sit this one out on-shore.
