This was the longest stage of the Tour de France a la Voile. An important issue since it was with a factor 5. It is played for M34 Sodebo who crossed the finish line at 15:07. The crew of Thomas Coville has nothing released to the finish line just before wet Brest. These 245,000 race took place mostly downwind, ideal conditions for the 12 teams entered. In total it took 28 hours for the crew Sodebo to overcome this stage which forced the crew to remain particularly attentive to the settings. Bretagne Crédit Mutuel Elite is the second class of the offshore leg, Courrier Dunkerque is third.
Overall, Groupama 34 who finished fourth step, keeps his leadership. But Cammas and his men are under pressure from their direct opponents. Men Nicolas Troussel on Britain Crédit Mutuel Elite return to their transom just 27 points. The third overall draft is Courrier Dunkerque.
