Louis-Maurice Tannyères was evacuated from his Figaro Beneteau Joanna Sunday at 23:00 after he reported being violently fell over on his shoulder. The skipper had called the escort boat GMF Assistance 21h23 for consultation with the race doctor, Jean-Yves Chauve. The incentive for the rapid diagnosis for hospital discharge: the PSP Flamingo Navy recovered the wounded for transport to La Coruna while sailing Race Director Joanna landed aboard a teammate to repatriate the Figaro Beneteau Gijón. The sailor was supported by the hospital department of La Coruna, he’s fine.
