That’s right! Three of us delinquents went sailing with cops on a catamaran. Deb and Phil bought their catamaran and have been getting ready to sail up to the Canaries for several months. They invited us to go sail with them and check things out. And they got me and the Canadians drunk. We all survived a fun adventure and began a new one on Galopin with or without the autopilot, me, Peixe and Ricardo set of for Sal island on an incredibly odd glass sea.

On to the Canary Islands where he learned how to manage in extreme ocean conditions. Continues south to the Cabo Verde Islands, land of the most beautiful people ever. He learns to speak the local Creole language so to better understand the Cape Verdean culture. To enjoy life, feel young and love again. He recovers from hip replacement surgery and sails on to the great African continent where few sailors dare to go. His story is one of an old geezer living the life of a full time sailor with all it’s perils and pleasures. So hang on, eat, dance, laugh, love and discover the world with him and his boat Galopin. It’s their Winded Voyage. A real living adventure series.
