Merry Christmas everyone! This is a special holiday episode from Cape Verde Africa. After my injury I moor at Marina Mindelo with the help of my friend Peixe. Turns out I’m not moored in the comfort zone after all. But Galopin is right next to my friend Peter who delivers stunning drone footage of Mindelo. And being back in Mindelo I’m surrounded by many great friends who help make this place home for us. Sailing Galopin in Cabo Verde Africa.

On to the Canary Islands where he learned how to manage in extreme ocean conditions. Continues south to the Cabo Verde Islands, land of the most beautiful people ever. He learns to speak the local Creole language so to better understand the Cape Verdean culture. To enjoy life, feel young and love again. He recovers from hip replacement surgery and sails on to the great African continent where few sailors dare to go. His story is one of an old geezer living the life of a full time sailor with all it’s perils and pleasures. So hang on, eat, dance, laugh, love and discover the world with him and his boat Galopin.
