The rebuild of our tired old windlass is complete, except for the installation that is and that is up to me….what could possibly go wrong? Later we begin prepping the boat for paint and varnish. What a monster job this has turned out to be. It seems like every day we take two steps forward and one step back. At least we are making progress.

Welcome to Wind over Water. We are Chris and Debbie, a young at heart middle aged couple who sell it all and become full time sailors. Our videos document our adventures preparing our boat and ourselves for the trip of a lifetime south through America and to the Bahamas, through the purchase and outfitting of our new boat and more adventures in our Canadian Great Lakes.
