Have you ever dreamt of buying an old boat and taking off. Bums on a Boat is a great YouTube channel for the dreamers who don’t mind getting their hands dirty. Joel and Michal are two determined, young sailors who are adventuring on a budget. Follow along as they learn everything from sail handling, to boat repair and engine maintenance. We had a great visit from this friendly couple and discovered, much to our surprise, that we had some mutual acquaintances. The Bums visit has been split into two episodes. The first one gives us the back story and a great story it is. They share with us their path so far and their plans for the future. Welcome to Wind over Water. We are Chris and Debbie, a young at heart middle aged couple who sell it all and become full time sailors. Our videos document our adventures preparing our boat and ourselves for the trip of a lifetime south through America and to the Bahamas, through the purchase and outfitting of our new boat and more adventures in our Canadian Great Lakes.
