Goodbye Saba... A 3-Day Caribbean Sailing Adventure to Guadeloupe E392
Leaving Saba was one of the hardest departures yet. It quickly became one of our favorite islands in the Caribbean, but the weather had other plans. With stronger winds on the way, it was time to keep heading south.
Our original plan was to spend a few days exploring St. Kitts and Nevis, but the anchorage was far too rolly to stay. Instead we just did a short overnight stop in Nevis.
The next morning we sailed to the spectacular volcanic island of Montserrat, but by the time we arrived it was too late to check in—and with weekend overtime fees, we made the tough decision to keep sailing.
After nearly three days at sea, hopping from island to island without really stopping, we finally arrived in Guadeloupe, exhausted but excited to step back onto solid ground.
