From Paradise to France! Overnight Sail, Tuna Feast & St. Martin's French Lifestyle E384
After exploring beautiful St. John in the US Virgin Islands, it's time to check out of Cruz Bay and set sail for a long overnight passage to the island of Saint Martin!
The crossing keeps us busy as the fishing lines come alive and we land multiple tuna along the way. After arriving in Marigot on the French side of the island, we're quickly reminded why so many cruisers love Saint Martin. Fresh baguettes from the bakery, affordable wine and cheese, waterfront happy hours, and a relaxed European atmosphere make it feel completely different from anywhere else in the Caribbean.
We climb up to historic Fort Louis for an unforgettable sunset overlooking the bay, join the floating boat party known as Floatchella, and make a provisioning run to the Dutch side of the island where we discover one of the best-stocked grocery stores we've seen in the Caribbean.
