3 Fails in 3 Days… Puerto Rico Didn’t Go As Planned E377
Not every sailing day goes to plan… and this one REALLY didn’t 😅
We kick things off with a beautiful, calm sail past Cabo Rojo Lighthouse—one of the most stunning coastlines in Puerto Rico. But from there… things start to unravel.
We anchor in La Parguera hoping to experience the famous bioluminescent bay… but it’s a total fail.
Next stop, Ponce, for a much-needed resupply—but we tried to take a short cut to the store which involves one of our sketchiest dinghy rides yet, battling waves crashing as we enter the creek 😬 (fail #2).
Hoping to turn things around, we sail to Caja de los Muertos (Coffin Island)—a stunning island with crystal-clear water. But even here, our hike to the lighthouse turns into another fail thanks to a brutal cactus-covered trail 🌵
Thankfully, not everything goes wrong… we find some incredible snorkeling and wrap things up sailing into Salinas.
This is real sailing life—plans change, things go sideways, but the adventure never stops.
