Wow, so much progress in this video! I feel like after watching this back we left a ton of questions unanswered so maybe we'll do a Q&A about this project once it resumes again in the Spring. For now, winter construction has shut down. I did eventually hear back from our concrete guy, he made an excuse for not showing up and said he'd pour in the Spring once things warm up, so yeah, all part of the construction process I think learning how to manage things. Obviously it would have been great to start this project earlier in the summer and avoided all of the weather stress, but none of the people we hired were available then, there's such a short building opportunity around here that getting help in the summer for projects is highly competitive and sometimes needs to be booked out years in advance--which just means we get to do more things ourselves! Lou is currently teaching himself Rhino so we can design the space, and Dana is cooking up a storm in the shipping container kitchen to finish up her cookbook project.
