Van Demolition Continued (Van Build - Part 4)

One of my favorite things about being van owners and deciding to move to Spain to do the #vanconversion is the amount of time that Lou and I get to spend together working on Ody.

It feels so empowering to be learning together, strategizing and designing. I think the thing I love about it most though is that we are actually making something physical. For so many years now we have been sharing our stories with you here on Youtube. We’re used to collaborating on what the story arch will be, or what shots to get, or who to interview, but now it’s almost like the stories are just telling themselves. We just get to show up, work on our project and the surprises and chaos follow. We just have to hope to catch what we can on camera and then Lou somehow finds the energy to craft all these moments into a beautiful video.

And these build videos are something I am going to cherish forever. I don’t think I ever would have been able to predict how much joy a 38 year old van could bring us.
