I feel like anything we shoot with our Super 8 camera feels like it is instantly transformed into something iconic. And this day in New Hampshire with our friend Aisling is the perfect example. Just a casual day at home making fires and taking a walk in the woods has such a nostalgic, beautiful vibe when viewed through the lens of Super 8.
Since this is the third time I used our Canon AutoZoom 814, I finally feel like I was getting the hang of it – from how long to hold a shot, to where to focus, to how to incorporate more movement so that there was a flow between each take. Though I have to say I could easily have just filmed the roaring fire for minutes and been completely mesmerized!
Again I want to give a huge shoutout to my brother David who edited this video! He is really growing his edit skills with each video he makes and I can’t wait to see his skills develop this year. If you’re reading this make sure to leave a comment of encouragement for him!
