Travel journals entries are one of my favorite ways to make time for art in my life. I love putting on some good music, making a cup of tea, getting all my art supplies set up, and looking through old photos from our adventures to spark my memories. I feel like it takes away one of the hardest obstacles with art – what do I want to make today? Instead of worrying about what topic is worth exploring, the location of your travels creates an automatic theme. For Scotland, that theme was GREEN! The whole time we were there I couldn’t believe the natural color palette and knew that it would be the perfect aspect to pull the entire journal spread together. I hope you enjoyed this one and had fun getting a look at our new website too.
