After a long and challenging winter season and months of dreaming, building, and creating behind the scenes, we’re finally sharing some big news: we’re pregnant with baby #2, and Batch: Freezer Meals for Your Future Self—Dana’s new cookbook—is officially out in the world! This pregnancy has felt especially sweet. A slower pace, a growing belly, a toddler underfoot. And somehow, in the middle of it all, Dana wrote and photographed a book—one that we hope brings ease, joy, and delicious food to your table. Batch: Freezer Meals for Your Future Self is more than just a cookbook. It’s a love letter to future-you, packed with meals that nourish through every season of life.

In this episode, we also set up one of our favorite off-grid systems: our seasonal outdoor shower. Every year when the ground thaws, we rebuild this space from scratch. It is one of our favorite corners of the land and where we make some of our most special family memories all summer long.
